2 weeks ago the 49ers wrapped up their season with a heavy loss against the Seahawks. They had a decent season this year winning 12 of the games they played and 5 of them they lost. And what we are doing in this article is diving into how their last game went. The Seahawks seized control in the first quarter with a 95 yard kickoff for a touchdown and took a 7–0 lead. Which as you can guess, determined how they would do for the remainder of the game. But a fourth down fumble near mid field slowed them down a bit, they quickly built on this advantage, and extended the score by 10–0 towards the end of the first quarter.
The 49ers found some rhythm in the second quarter, leaning on the Christian McCaffrey,(mainly because George Kittle and Nick Bosa were out) and short completions to Tight End Jake Tonges to string together defensive drives. As they continued to play the game, unfortunately the game ended up working in the Seahawks favor, ultimately. Many 49ers fans are disappointed about how it played out and are hoping the Seahawks will lose in the Superbowl LX but with the way things have been going for the Seahawks this season it is undetermined for the fans.
Towards the end of the Superbowl, former Patriots and Buccaneers player Tom Brady gave a reassuring and somewhat inspirational quote saying "It’s just kind of remarkable what this Niners team has done this year – to celebrate them. I know tonight it’s a blowout. It’s 41-6. But the resilience, the adversity they’ve dealt with all year with the injuries. This is just an incredible organization led by Kyle Shanahan. They do so many things the right way. To get to this point is nothing short of a miracle." But many hope the 49ers will be much better next year.
