Best Xbox games in 2025, A Personal Exploration

Do you really wanna find interesting games that aren’t like all the rest? Well, so do I! For some backstory, I haven’t played many console games in my life due to not having my own console to play on. So I have had to play games however I could, for example, on phones and old laptops. But with my birthday coming up (and my mom accidentally spilling the beans), I will be able to play many more games thanks to her. 

In the spirit of the excitement that will occur, I wanted to discover some games that personally look interesting to ME, so keep that in mind and take this list with a grain of salt. These are the games that I found that sound and look the most appealing for me!

In my experience, playing games that are too hectic tend to overwhelm me, so finding games that are good for my level and appeal to me is the mission! Some games I currently like are Roblox, since it has been a favorite of mine for a long time, GTA, and Minecraft. We will be also venturing out and exploring new games that are fun for me to play. 

Some favorite categories of mine are pvp, story games, simulators, and on occasion, horror. So, out of these categories, these are the best games that I am interested in playing in 2025!

Slime Rancher!

A peek into the world of slimes!

This first game is one that I have seen before many times but never really played for myself. With all the different adorable slimes that you can collect and the following of an adventurous storyline makes this game quite appealing to me! You have a little farm that you can expand and fill up with cute creatures that you feed for gems!

Becoming a slime rancher definitely catches my attention due to the adorable silly slimes that you are able to essentially vacuum up and transport to your farm. The person you play as also has miku-colored hair! After doing some research, I stumbled upon the search for “Slime Rancher 2”. I’m so glad I was so slow to play this game that they already made the next one! 

From what I can tell it looks like there are different areas to explore and even more adorable slimes to capture!

GTA 5!

In this game, you get to explore the world of illegal activity while in the comfort of your own home. The rush and satisfaction of completing a mission is what you may experience in this game as you get to replay them as many times as you want. 

The open-world format is super fun to explore, finding new things to do and more ways to make money makes this game awesome! Playing online is also pretty good as you can customize your character way more and interact with friends and other players; sometimes in a bad way though because people will just randomly kill you. :c

Crime Scene Cleaner!

This game features some super in-depth physics that makes you kind of go crazy. Although I love this game because of how detailed the cleaning is, you have to take out bodies and trash, mop, scrub things down, and move things back into place! 

You have to carry around a mop bucket with you and it usually falls over which is a bit annoying considering you must refill it. Despite the annoying mop bucket, this game is great to relax and clean interesting things as well as find out what happened along the way!

In all I am extremely excited to test out all these games to the fullest! I hope you all enjoyed my suggestions and enjoy the games as much as I believe I will.
