With the Jan 29th plane collision, a lot of families are grieving right now. With the plane crash having no survivors, authorities are still looking more into the recent crashes.

The plane crashed into the Potomac River after colliding with a Military Helicopter, about 67 people fell victim to this crash and perished unfortunately. All 67 remains of the victims were found thankfully.

So far this is one of four deadly crashes in 2025, with this one being the first and the second happened on the 31st of January with a medical jet crashing in Philadelphia, killing seven people.

And the third, on the 6th of February when a Bering Air Flight 445 crashed into the sea and killed 10 people.

And the last one happening on the 10th of February when a plane on a runway swerved off and crashed into a parked plane only killing one person but injuring four others.

In total 85 people were killed of plane crashes this year.

The January 29th crash is the first major crash in the US in almost 16 years, happening in 2009, the Colan Air Flight 3407 crashed into a house after falling out of the sky, near Buffalo, New York, killing 50 people in the process. Despite such a tragedy, this crash had a positive effect, with new regulations being created to better pilots for training and so less crashes like this one happen.

The crash site is now a memorial to all the victims involved.
