Kanye West's recent musical run has been called out for extreme controversy and insane themes, leading many to question his mental state and sanity. In March of 2025, he released “WW3” a song that samples Freda Payne "I Get High" and features imagery from the KKK. The track was initially part of his demo album Bully, which he later revealed was a precursor to his full length album C(u)ck.
"WW3" gained viral attention, topping Spotify's Viral 50 charts in Germany and Israel, before being removed from all streaming platforms due to its incredibly offensive content, along with his song literally named “Cousins” And the entirety of the song speaks about lewd things he did with his family.
On May 8, Kanye AKA (Ye) released "Heil Hitler" (like really dude?), a song that openly glorifies Adolf Hitler and includes samples of his speeches. The track was banned from major streaming services but gained over 10 million views on Elon Musk's platform X, sparking debates about censorship and free speech. The accompanying music video featured disturbing imagery, including Black men in animal pelts chanting “N*gga Heil Hitler”
Kanye West’s behavior has extended beyond his music. He has even made headlines for
wearing KKK robes during interviews.

He has also been promoting swastika-themed merchandise on his Yeezy website. These actions have led to the cancellation of his planned concert in South Korea and intensified public controversy of his mental health.
His recent works, including "Cousins" have really sank into deeply personal and disturbing themes, further pushing concerns about his well-being.

Kanye has even openly spoken about his thoughts on Jewish people as well. He recently underwent a surgery that went wrong. And he then went to a podcast and quoted "I'm not going to say what race, what people – doctor, and what hospital, what media went to – we know I can’t say that.” But then he crosses his arms and, after a short pause, clarifies what he isn’t allowed to say, just in case it might have gone over anyone’s head “It was a Jewish doctor.”
In summary, Kanye West's recent songs and actions have sparked significant controversy, with many questioning his mental state and the impact of his “art”. His embrace of shock value and offensive content has led to widespread backlash and raised important discussions about the boundaries of artistic expression.
