Should older kids be allowed to trick or treat? I would say that it depends because if you're 16 and trick or treating with your friends then I think it's fine because you are just having fun with friends, but if you are 16 and trick or treating by yourself then I think not because you are just stealing candy from the younger kids. But there is an age where you shouldn't at all, even with your friends, and that is around 19-20 years old. By then, you are that age where you should be the one giving the candy to the kids.

When you're in high school you should be allowed to trick or treat with the other kids and if you are a full grown adult you should not be allowed to. How would you feel if you are in your 50s and you are handing out candy to kids with full grown beards. Personally, I would feel like that guy is stealing the candy that could go to the younger kids.
As MHS Junior EJ Rose states, “I feel that if you're 21 or higher, you should not be trick or treating. You should be the one handing out the candy.” I do agree with EJ Rose since older people should be handing out candy to the younger kids, passing on the tradition. If you're the younger kids, then you should be having fun on Halloween and getting candy with your friends. Try to go to the houses with the king size candy bars.
Overall my argument states that candy should be handed out if you're 21 (and with a full grown beard) and if you are under 21 go have fun. Go get all the candy you want and have the most fun with your friends and that finally summarizes my argument.
