Watching Girl Haunts Boy was an experience of a lifetime. It tells such a great and amazing story about a human and a ghost. In Girl Haunts Boy, Cole Sanchez (Michael Cimino), moves to a new house while dealing with the loss of his father. The house he moved into is haunted by a ghost, Beatrix “Bea” Jenkins (Peyton List). They form a bond no other human and ghost could ever make. Cole shows Bea around the town and with the help of Cole's spiritual friend, Lydia Anderson (Phoebe Holden), they find out why Bea hasn’t moved on.
I have always been a huge fan of Peyton List ever since she played Emma Ross in Jessie and Bunk’d. More past movies and shows she's been in are: Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Cobra Kai, and School Spirits. I recommend you definitely watch these. They are just as good! Since I’ve watched Girl Haunts Boy, Michael Cimino has become one of my favorite actors. I’ve recently started watching Love, Victor, in which he plays the main character, Victor. He is also in Never Have I ever, and I’m considering watching it just for him.

Michael Cimino sings in this film, and I absolutely love them. He sings songs like All Star and Still Haunted By You, both composed by Keegan DeWitt and written by Cheche Alara and Justin Kawika Young. Michael Cimino expresses his gratitude for the writers and being able to sing songs in the movie in a video-call interview with Peyton List and Kristen Maldonado (interviewer). He says “It was honestly so sick to work with Cheche and Justin. It’s not like an original song that I wrote, you know what I mean? But it’s like a song that I sing on and it’s an amazing song and it was so fun to just kind of combine two of my passions and, you know, that was the first time I really ever got to do that. So it was really cool.”
I won’t lie, I cried watching Girl Haunts Boy, especially towards the end of the film when it got really emotional. Other than the sad bits, this is a fun and bittersweet movie to watch with friends and family. This is one of my favorite movies ever and it has two of my favorite actors playing amazing main character roles. I’ve been obsessed with the movie ever since I watched it. And the songs that Michael Cimino sings are really good. If you do decide to watch the movie, I suggest you listen to Haunted By You. It’s a beautiful song and really describes the movie well.
