Before Superbowl weekend every year, since 1941, there has been a Pro Bowl the weekend before the Superbowl. It's a smack down between two different teams with the best players from that year from each conference in the NFL. The AFC and NFC.

They do a variety of different challenges such as dodge ball, satisfying catches, big spikes, and more. Also, last year they changed the pro bowl from flag football to 'Player Throwing Dodge Ball' prevent injuries. This year the winner of the Pro Bowl was the NFC in a 76-63 victory over the AFC in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, Florida.

SUPERBOWL

The Superbowl was on February 9th in New Orleans Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs were going into that game as back to back reigning champs hoping for the first three peat in NFL history.

Now the Eagles' last time to the Superbowl was Superbowl LVII against the Chiefs. The Eagles lost that game by three, 35-38. LVII was in 2023 and the eagles were hopeless. Two years later, i.e. this year, they made it back to the Superbowl to find themselves facing off against the Chiefs once again in a 'revenge game'.

In the Superbowl, the Eagles were stomping all over the Chiefs with more points than the Chiefs had yards in the whole first half (Eagles 24 points to Chiefs 23 total yards).

The Eagles' defense was a huge part of this win, with 6 total sacks and 2 interceptions in which one of them was taken all the way back to the house for a pick six by CB Cooper DeJean who was also celebrating his 22nd birthday.

The Eagles were up 34-0 in the 3rd quarter. That's when the Chiefs offense finally got some points up on the board. The Eagles' offense continued to dominate with Jalen Hurts throwing for a total of 221 yards and 72 rushing yards.

In the end, Eagles win 40-22 and the Eagles coach Nick Sirianni breaks down a lopsided Super Bowl win:

“This game doesn't have to be complicated”
