Every year before the NBA draft the NBA holds the draft lottery. The draft lottery is an annual event where teams that missed the previous year’s playoffs participate in a lottery-style process to determine the draft order for the first several picks.
This year's lottery was full of excitement with teams getting their draft picks and setting the mock draft into place. The mock draft is pretty much a practice draft where the teams use their picks to foreshadow their picks for the actual draft.

This year's number one pick went to the Dallas Mavericks who recently made a trade for Anthony Davis giving away Luka Doncic. The Dallas Mavericks plan on picking Cooper Flag. He was an amazing college basketball player over at Duke.
The next pick goes to the San Antonio Spurs. With that pick they are projected to pick up Dylan Harper who balled out in college and played for the school Rutgers. He is close to matching Cooper Flagg but not close enough for the number 1 pick.
The third pick in the first round goes to the Philadelphia 76ers. They are predicted to pick the guard out of Baylor V.J Edgcombe. Who absolutely dominated college and left nothing in his tracks.
The fourth overall pick went to the Charlotte Hornets. And they plan on picking Forward Ace Bailey out of Rutgers. He was on the same team as Dylan Harper where they destroyed the competition and they never looked back from their careers they took off and kept going.
The fifth pick has gone to the Utah Jazz. Where they plan on picking the guard out of Texas. Tre Johnson is a taller guard which makes him a leather threat when he is driving to the paint.

Over all this draft lottery has been very interesting and insightful for what we can expect for the actual draft. These players are very talented and all basketball fans are sitting at the edge of their seats to se where they go.
