What is Happening With GTA 6?

We all know our beloved free-roam game, the game where you can do pretty much anything you want…GTA. For almost 30 years, people have enjoyed this franchise playing and completing all the games and DLCs. Everyone who plays one of the 5 GTA games loves it…but there's a problem. The new game GTA 6 has been delayed from coming out twice.
People are anxious to play GTA 6, but it keeps getting delayed… but why? According to sources, people have been leaking the game, delaying progress and making everyone mad. GTA is a huge franchise, the budget being $1 Billion dollars, making it the biggest gaming project in history. But you may ask, how have people been getting into “the system” and leaking things?
Well, there are a few theories about what's been happening. One theory is that there are insiders leaking the new content, and while this may be true, people suspect that they would be able to figure out who is leaking the content, since the company has a tremendously huge budget. Now, while all of this controversy is happening, Rockstar Games has made a statement on their website, stating that GTA 6 will be released on May 26th of this year.
This is huge, with the second release statement being for November 19 of 2026, this changes everything. On the 2nd of May, Rockstar Games stated, “With every game we have released, the goal has always been to try and exceed your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto VI is no exception.” With every other GTA game, they have been met with mostly very positive reviews, but people are concerned with releasing the game earlier than anticipated. People would rather have a fine polished game with the least amount of flaws as possible rather than a rushed product.
Though Rockstar Games has been working on GTA 6 for over a decade, it’s important to make sure that the most anticipated game in history is perfect. People have mixed reactions to it being released earlier, people being very excited and others worried, but in all, the world will be overjoyed when the game comes out.
