Who do you think is the best lightweight fighter in the UFC? You can say Khabib Nurmagomedov or you can say Ilia Topuria has a lot of power like in UFC 308 where he knocked out Max Holloway in the 3rd round.

What about kick boxers? Some are really good like Israel Adesanya. He is really good. I think that lslam Makhachev has one of the best records: 27 wins, 1 loss. That is one of the best records in the lightweight.

Let's talk about Ilia Topuria. Topuria is the champion of the UFC right now and his record is 17-0--that is unbelievable. When Ilia Topuria was first in the UFC, he was in the Featherweight and won the title by defeating Alexander Volkanovski.

After he won the fight, he went up a weight class and won the title by knocking out Charles Oliveira in the first round at UFC 317.

I asked Middletown High School student Travis Neasham who he thought was the best UFC fighter in the lightweight division. When I asked him he said “Conor McGregor on top” Conor McGregor is a very good fighter with 22 wins and six losses and he is definitely up to as one of the best fighters in the UFC."

I also asked Travis how he felt after Conor McGregor lost the belt in UFC: “I felt very discouraged and very bummed and that he deserves the belt because Conor McGregor was stripped from his belt."

With all that said, I think that Ilia Topuris is the best UFC fighter right now because he has the belt and is undefeated. He has 2 belts right now, but it really should be 3. I mean, he actually beat Max Holloway once, who is now the reigning BMF belt champion. It is honestly so crazy, and that's why I think that he is the best fighter in the lightweight.
