There have been so many MVP, like josh Allen in 2024 and Lamar Jackson 2023. However, I feel like it's not right that most of the time quarterbacks (QB) win the award. Out of 50~ winners, there have only been 22 non-QB that have won. The most recent non QB was Adrian Peterson back in 2012.

Most of the time it's a quarterback that wins the MVP but I feel like this year there are so many good running backs that one of them should win the MVP, like Jonathan Taylor. He is having a good season with 850 rushing yards, 143 carries, and 12 touchdowns. During last week's game he had 12 carries for 153 yards and he averaged 12.8 yard per carries and he had 3 touchdowns (2 running touchdowns and 1 receiving touchdown). One running touchdown was an 80 yards touchdown. Jonathan Taylor is averaging 27.1 fantasy points per game. He is currently the number 1 running back in fantasy scoring and is leading the league in total touchdowns.
Jonathan Taylor has played 6 seasons for the Colts. He has had 1,371 carries for 6,863 yards, 166 catches for 1,297 yards and has scored 70 touchdowns. He was selected to play in 2 Pro Bowls. It's crazy how back in 2020 they got him in the 2 round pick 41.
During an ESPN interview for Schrager Hour, Jonathan Taylor talks about his quarterback and he said that "he's one tough cookie”. And in another interview, he talk about his 3 touchdowns game and his 80 yard touchdown saying that “he said that his offensive line and tight end are playing at the best level and it make it easy.”
I feel like he is one of the best offensive players this year and he is going to have a great year, so he should win MVP.
