Benson Boone Shocks Fans With Suprise song

Pop-star and musician Benson Boon shocks everyone at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul Minnesota by playing the hit song by the group Coldplay, Sparks, during his American Heart tour.

Benson Boone First started his music career back in the later end of 2021 with his debut single, “Ghost Town”. Even though he started releasing music around this time, he discovered his ability to sing earlier on in his life, around 2019. This ability to sing allowed him to use this skill to begin a following on social media. This following allowed him to gain the confidence to go on American Idol around the start of 2021. He would later go on to release other hit songs such as In The Stars and Beautiful Things, both of which have amassed over 1 billion streams each. 

People loved his more emotional and “sadder” style of music and he developed a large group of people who listened to him due to this kind of music. But this would begin to change when he performed at Coachella on April 11, and April 18, 2025. 

During the first week of Coachella, he played the hit song by the band Queen, Bohemidian Rapsody, where he had a special guest. This special guest was none other than the lead guitarist of Queen, Brian May. 

During this performance he was sporting a glittery jumpsuit inspired by the 80's theme that he was going for; along with the outfit, he was dancing and jumping around the stage. Needless to say, fans were shocked at this new style with some claiming he was trying too hard to be Queen and how he should swap back to his original genre.

Even with all the hate he was receiving, on April 24, 2025, he would release the lead single to his sophomore album titled American Heart. The lead single Mystical Magical took the internet by storm. Mystical Magical took Benson Boone' s career to a whole another level. Before the release of the song, he was at an amazing 26 million monthly listeners on Spotify. After the release of the song however, he skyrocketed to an astounding 52.9 monthly listeners as of September 4th, 2025. 

This newfound fame allowed him to release his sophomore album American Heart. Along with this, he announced his American Heart tour to go along with his new album. During this tour he would occasionally perform a surprise song by another artist.

But none of the songs captivated listeners like the song Sparks did by Coldplay. People have described this cover of the song as beautiful or breathtaking.
