Farmers Market in Middletown returns for its fourth year here!

Updated: Apr 23

The farmers market has been around for a few years here in Middletown. Many people in the community enjoy going to the local library where it is hosted every Friday.

Usually they introduce it back the first Friday of April starting at 5-8 P.M and continue throughout the year up till November.  In September-November they change the times to 4-7 P.M

Based on the past few years the farmers market has progressed. They have almost everything from soaps and oils, to produce. They also have live music and pastries. The farmers market is a great and affordable way to spend a nice sunny Friday.

A peek of the Farmers Market!

You can find locals and people from all over selling products. Booths you can find around the park sell food like pizza, noodles, tacos and you can purchase lots of plants and produce. You can also purchase clothes, jewelry and even crochet stuffies.

One downside of the farmers market is that there are some smokers while children are present so it might not be the best if you were to be around stands that do have smokers.

I went this Friday, and it was a bit chilly outside but that did not stop booths from striving and welcoming in people to take a look around their booth. Every person from each booth was very kind, there are less booths right now because it has just recently been brought back to the farmers market but there were more than enough booths to purchase goodies from.

Some new booths contained freeze dried candy, wine, oils , honey and many more.

Food wise, I had purchased pizza and fries. The pizza is made in front of you, everything tastes fresh and it's not oily. And they make it in under 15 minutes depending on if they are busy at the moment. The plain fries are very affordable and can be shared among 3 people. The plain fries come out to five dollars and depending if you want to add something like chilly, brisket and more the price goes up.

Overall the Farmers Market is a great way to enjoy a free Friday at 5:00pm with others.
