How to Make Sourdough, Just Add a Bit of ‘Mother'

When I was little maybe around 4 or 5 my dad used to make sourdough my dad as a matter of fact used to make a lot of things such as ramen from scratch stir fry sausage and salami but today we’re learning how to make sourdough sourdough is fairly simple.


Process

So first we start with the flour, the water and the mother because if you make sourdough you need a mother or you wont be able to make sourdough at all and you start to roll and knead the dough in more flour and then leave it in the bowl with plastic wrap covering the top so that it will rise.   


Then take it out of the bowl and put it in a bread basket that has a moist cloth in it and cover so that it will proof, after its done proofing you put it in the oven for around 50—60 minutes at 425 Degrees Fahrenheit then you let it cool and enjoy it
