The Predator movie series is an iconic franchise, with their latest movie Predator: Killer of Killers being a success with a high five star ratings and good reviews from the unique art style to the strong story telling.

The new predator movie, which is set to release November 7, 2025, is being directed by Dan Trachtenberg, starring in the movie is the famous actor Elle Fanning, who starred in movies like Charlotte’s Web and The Boxtrolls.
The movie takes place on a remote planet, a young predator who was outcast by his clan with an unexpected ally must aid each other on the predator’s journey in search of the ultimate opponent. After the trailer for the upcoming film dropped some fans loved the unique slimmer version of predators in this upcoming film, but a majority of fans dislike the new look as they feel its too human like and lacks intimidation like the previous film’s predators had.
Fans are also criticizing the film's PG-13 rating, especially since all but one of the older predators movies were rated R, meaning this film will limit the gore that the fans of the original films would be wanting to see. Even with the less mature rating there still hope for a good film as the other rated PG-13 film Alien vs Predator (2004) fans still found the film outstanding with things such as the creatures designs, special effects, and fights despite the weak plot.

In conclusion, despite the new and different changes I think there still great potential for the movie, because I believe if they do it right the idea of a more human looking predator will successfully work in making the predator more easy to emphasize with. Also the idea of the predator having an unexpected ally that will help him in his search for the ultimate foe to redeem himself into his clan sounds like this movie really is worth the hype.
